From an early age, I knew I wanted to work in a field centered on helping people. I have always been fascinated by the connection between our experiences, relationships, and mental health. During my training, I found myself especially drawn to psychiatry because it combines my interests in how the brain works and human development and gives me the opportunity to truly understand each person’s unique story. I was especially drawn to child and adolescent psychiatry because of the opportunity to support young people and their families during some of life's most important developmental years.

While not with my patients, you will find me exploring parks with my kids, playing tennis, being in nature as much as possible, going to concerts, or reading a good book at my favorite coffee shops.

Clinical Approach

My goal is to create a space where everyone feels understood and supported. Sessions with me are conversational- I ask questions, listen carefully, and work collaboratively to understand what is contributing to your challenges and what can help you move forward. For children and adolescents, I partner closely with families while also making sure young people have a voice in their own care. My goal as a psychiatrist is to provide collaborative care with evidence-based treatment whether that involves therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. I have particular interest in women’s mental health, cross cultural psychiatry, and incorporate an integrative and holistic approach to psychiatric care that supports overall wellness.
