As Carl Rogers said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” In both my personal and professional experience, I’ve seen that guilt, shame, and self-criticism rarely lead to the meaningful change people hope for—they often leave us feeling stuck and discouraged. Real change begins with self-acceptance, and I’d be thrilled to help you on this journey.

When I’m out of the office, you’ll probably find me chasing after my kids, practicing yoga, knitting, or baking some sourdough bread.

Clinical Approach

My clinical approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized to your goals and preferences. I have a gentle approach, yet I can and will be direct as needed to help you move forward. Therapy with me usually involves exploring your personal values and core beliefs to find a deeper understanding of yourself as well as a trajectory for where you’re headed. I also have a tendency to throw in some occasional humor in session since laughter can be therapeutic too!Who I Work With

I work with children (ages 8 and up), teens, and adults coping with anxiety, depression, maternal mental health issues, trauma, life transitions, grief/loss, stress management, relationship issues, and substance use disorders.
