Nicole Dimond, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Licensed States: Wisconsin

Years of Experience: 14+ years

I have over 10 years of experience in mental health and if I have learned anything, it's that there is always more to learn. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families that are motivated for lasting change. I understand that each person I meet with has their own goals and I work collaboratively with clients to foster transparency and understanding of what I am able to offer through therapy.

When I am not in session, you will find me learning how to garden, spending time with my family and friends, and spending time with my dog Pablo.

Clinical Approach

My approach to therapy is client centered, holistic, and collaborative; working with the client to achieve their goals. I understand the complexity of the human experience that lends itself to varying needs during different seasons of life. I believe in the inherent wisdom and strength that each person has and works towards uncovering and rediscovering this with clients through somatic, relational, and cognitive frameworks.

Who I Work With

I appreciate the importance of understanding systems and how the whole influences the individual on both a micro and macro scale. Subsequently, I do not view mental health from a symptoms based perspective but rather through a holistic lens that supports deeper insights that can remain unconscious if not brought to the surface through insight fostering therapeutic techniques. I also operate from the perspective that while there are no "quick fixes" to mental health, it is important for both the client and clinician to understand the presenting issues and the plan for therapy so there is trust and transparency in the therapeutic process.
