As someone who enjoys solving problems, I’ve learned to value my critical thinking skills and confidence in my abilities. It is something I bring to the therapy room and strive for clients to achieve. I also believe that a sense of humor is essential to everyone’s journey.

In my free time, I enjoy being outside, reading, and spending time with family.

Clinical Approach

I prefer to utilize therapeutic models and techniques that are evidence-based, which means that I integrate the best available research with my clinical expertise in the context of the client. Examples of models that I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one and find it extremely important to frequently assess one’s progress in treatment.

Who I Work With

I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults (55 years of age and up). I have extensive clinical experience treating individuals who have problems with alcohol and/or other drugs. I also have experience treating individuals with depression.
