Lindsay Wert, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Licensed States: Wisconsin
Years of Experience: 14 years
I’ve always believed in the power of human resiliency and connection. I always tell people when I meet them that what makes therapy work is the therapeutic relationship, where you feel heard and understood.
When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me spending time with family, walking, reading a new book, in yoga practice, or drinking a cup of coffee.
Clinical Approach
Starting therapy is a big step toward understanding yourself, and I am here to offer a safe and welcoming space. I work with people facing mental health challenges, trauma, ongoing symptoms, sexuality, identity, and significant life changes, always focusing on collaboration and your needs. I believe in understanding you as a whole and using your strengths to build upon our resiliency. My interest in therapy grew from my job and research on how childhood trauma affects resilience in adulthood.
Who I Work With
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, neurocognitive and personality concerns, major mental illness, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). I have a particular passion for supporting people through identity shifts, relationship changes, life transitions, school difficulties, and unpacking trauma.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a bachelor’s in child psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a master’s in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
