Treatment specialties: John specializes in showing couples how to reduce conflicts in relationships. He does marital and premarital counseling, individual counseling focusing on anxiety and depression, stress management, divorce, parenting/step-parenting issues, and problems in the workplace. Training/Experience: John is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the National Academy of Certified Social Workers. He received his Masters Degree from the Univ. Wisconsin-Madison School of Social Work and has a Senior Preceptor Faculty appointment with the School of Social Work, UW Madison. John has been in private practice for twenty years and is and owner/partner of Mental Health Solutions.

Techniques: Cognitive, solution-focused treatment with some behavioral orientation; couples/relationship counseling with focus on communication techniques and conflict resolution.
