Pharamacological improvements
We are pleased to announce a major upgrade of the medications panel of GoalMInder. We now supply the entire database from Gold Standard Multimedia, Inc, which lists all prescription, over the counter, and herbal medications sold in the United Staes, with free updates FOUR times a year! Take a look at Gold Standard's website for an idea of what is included.In addition to listing the medications, GoalMinder now makes it possible for the prescriber to read about the characteristics of each medication, to see the chemical structure, to access a photograph of the medication, and to print a fact sheet for the patient regarding the medication. The database we are using has been sold to 90% of the medical schools in the United States! It comes with GoalMinder for a nominal price per prescriber.
Session Notes Improved
Session Notes now has anoutlineravailable. The outliner includes all headings required by Medicare or JAHCO, insuring that your notes will include all required information, session by session. GoalMinder already provided the Patient's name, date of birth, diagnosis, treatment modality and treatment type/duration of the session. It also automatically inserted information about any new or changed medication. Now, using the outliner, you will be prompted for a MENTAL STATUS entry and a PLAN entry. The mental status in a session note can be a short, narrative description of your patient's mood and condition. The PLAN refers to what you and the patient are planning to do between now and the next session. GoalMInder then repeats the Treatment Plan constructed at intake as the last entry of the session note.
Registration Desk Report
Adding to the complement of reports designed to help a clinic with management tasks, our new Registration Desk Report lists the names of all clients to be seen for a given day alphabetically, together with the time of their appointment and with whom they are meeting. It is a simple, rapid compilation of essential information for the registration staff.
