Treatment Specialties: Dr Alexandra. McMurray is a licensed psychiatrist, using medications and psychotherapy to treat her patients and providing valuable diagnostic consults with our clinical staff. She is qualified to prescribe medications for all psychiatric conditions for children and adults.  Dr. McMurray works closely with our entire clinical staff and sees only patients who are also in some form of therapy with a Mental Health Solutions therapist when she is at our clinic. She has a separate practice in another clinic in Madison as well. Dr. McMurray brings a high level of professionalism and dedication to our clinic. 

Foreign Language skills: Fluent in Spanish

Training/Experience: MD, University of Illinois School of Medicine; Residency in general  and child/adolescent psychiatry, University of Iowa-Iowa City. Board certified in General Psychiatry.

Techniques: Psychiatric therapy and assessment: medication prescriptions and management.
